There are three geometrically shaped buildings housing twelve lofts and they are Casa Redonda, Casa Triangular, and Casa Rectangular, and then there is a small house called La Casita, and a grand house called La Casona which can be used for large functions like weddings or conferences.

Mention a Caribbean Island Resort on Canouan in the Grenadines to anyone and they automatically think of Raffles, but the Tamarind Beach Resort and Yacht Club is very well worth checking out, and apart from the fact it is a lot less money, it is in fact a very good place to spend a Caribbean Island Vacation.

It has just forty rooms, so if you prefer small and beautiful to big and glitzy this could be right for you. Tamarind Beach sits on a long white sand beach surrounded by tropical gardens, and the location is absolutely stunning.

To get to this Caribbean Island resort is just a short hop by a small plane from St Lucia, and you will be met by someone from the Tamarind who will drive you the ten minutes it takes through the main village to the resort. You will quickly be aware of the mossies, so you will need your bug spray. Greeted at the Tamarind by a nice cooling drink, you will realise very quickly how friendly the staff are, and this compares very favourably with many other Caribbean Island Resorts.

A Caribbean Honeymoon to Petit St Vincent is well worth taking the trouble to research.

Petit St Vincent is a five star Caribbean resort which has 22 rooms, and is described in its own brochure as an exotic Cottage Resort on its own 113 acre island which is completely surrounded by two miles of white sand beaches and it places great emphasis on privacy. It is 40 miles south of St Vincent in the Grenadines.

This is very much a lay back and relax sort of place, and the level of privacy works well. 

Petit St Vincent has one almost unique feature which are the flags. Your arrival at Saltwhisle Bay is by boat, having been picked up at the airport on Union Island, and you are taken to Mayreau Island. Young Island resort comes heavily recommended by everyone who has stayed there because this is a resort where you will get top class service, fantastic food, a very good wine selection, and last but not least peace, quiet, and tranquillity. Be warned this won’t be a Caribbean Honeymoon full of the nightly Jump Up, or even television in your room. Young Island resort is definitely not like that, but caters instead for honeymooners, and discerning guests.

For your Caribbean Honeymoon it is recommended that you have a cottage right on the beach, so that you can just walk out, go along a path and you hit the very nice  fresh water swimming pool, which unusually for the Caribbean is open 24 hours a day every day.
